Before Yoga: Arthur was a former paratrooper who got injured while serving in the army. After the injury, he became obese and immobile. Doctors told him that he would never be able to walk without support again. He became very hopeless and gave up on the idea of ever getting better. Then, someone told him about yoga.
After Yoga: With the help of DDP Yoga (a modified yoga system), Arthur lost more than 140 pounds and regained his mobility. Today, he walks, runs, and even does headstands. He is now fit and happy in his life.
Lesson: Never underestimate your body’s ability to heal — if your determination is strong, anything is possible. This proves that through yoga, we can regain our lost health and strength.
